Product Description

Vetorel XT421 is a single component, black box concentrate of specially formulated oils and additives that when diluted by 200 liters of diesel oil will produce a low viscosity liquid composed of synthetic mineral oils and special varied additives that performs in a superior manner to standard oil based mold release agents. Vetorel XT421 provides the plywood surface with a water repellent film preventing concrete from adhering to the form work resulting with a smooth, stainless concrete surface.

Shelf Life & Storage

Original sealed container of Vetorel XT422 and has a shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored clear of ground in a dry shaded place below 35ºC.

Instructions for use

Dilution

Pour the entire contents of the Vetorel XT422 concentrate into a 200 liter drum of diesel oil.

Use a drum stirrer or a small circulation pump to mix the contents of the drum.

Application

Vetorel XT422 is supplied in 10 kg pails that need to be mixed and diluted with 200 liters of Diesel prior to use. The mix can then be applied by brush, roller or spraying machine.

Apply the diluted Vetorel XT422 on plywood or steel shutter before the first casting. After every use of form-work, the shutter should be recoated lightly with Vetorel XT422 dilute.

Do not over apply the diluted Vetorel XT422 on the form-work. Excessive material should be allowed to drain before using the form-work.

Apply the product with a brush or preferably with a sprayer. For best results, it is advisable to apply diluted Vetorel XT422 at least two hours before using the shutter.

Surface Preparation

All molds, shutter surfaces must be cleaned from deposits of rust, concrete, oil or other materials. The product is ready to use without any dilution.

Additional Information
Health & Sefety

Vetorel XT422 is a mixture of mineral oils and additives that do not pose a threat to human health. The product is not suited for injection.

If swallowed seek medical attention immediately - do not induce vomiting.

Fire

Vetorel XT422 has a shelf flash point, so the flammability risk is low. Do not expose to naked flames or other sources of ignition.

Cleaning and disposal

Spillages of Vetorel XT422 should be absorbed onto sand, earth or vermiculite and transferred to suitable containers. Contaminated areas will become slippery.

The disposal of excess or waste material should be carried out in accordance with local legislation under the guidance of the local waste regulatory authority.
